Leavin' on a jet plane....

I'm sitting (or standing, rather) in the Busan airport, waiting for my flight to Bangkok. It's been delayed, so I have some time to kill.

I'm finished in Korea! I can't believe it yet, and I probably won't believe it until I'm sitting on a stranded beach somewhere in Southeast Asia. And I'm entirely OK with that prospect.

As of right now, I have no itinerary for this trip. I was so busy trying to wrap things up here in Korea that, aside from buying my plane ticket, I forgot to actually make travel plans. Fortunately we ("we" being Ken and I... my significant other and travel buddy) can get our visas for Cambodia and Laos at their borders, and the Vietnam visa can be obtained in Bangkok. As far as the order of these trips is concerned, I have no idea. Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia first? I guess we'll figure out this six-week excursion tomorrow, while hanging out in the grimy capital of Thailand (I love blowing black pollution out of my nose and smelling like poo and smog).

I will do my best to update this thing while traveling, but I'll probably fail all of you miserably. But not to worry; I'm sure I'll have plenty of stories and pictures for you upon my return. To the States! Ah!

You never called me before you left. I'm glad I'm the last...not even that last thing on your mind. :P Oh well, I will get over it in about 6 weeks probably. Have fun.

You are already missed a ton around here. A thousand times I've wanted to pick up my, um, keyboard and not call you (my phone-challenged friend). Though now I wouldn't be very fun to hang out with. On Friday night, I got hit with the worst flu I've ever had; it morphed into a bad cold and is still hanging on strong. I was in bed Friday night through Wednesday morning. Boring! I kept thinking of all the fun you and Ken were having! I can't wait to hear what you're up to. I'll be sure to facebook you sometime when I'm not feeling so crappy. :) Have an amazing, awesome, memorable time!

Have a great time and safe travels. Even if I can't see you when you return to the states, a long phone call would be nice. Miss you.
