Flowers!

I love summertime and all the flowers that come with it. The markets are stacked with them around Toronto these days, and they always make me feel a little happier whenever I'm out walking around the city (usually aimlessly).

Ken got these flowers for me the other day and I love them**:
(Does the my-husband-got-me-flowers thing count if I'm in the store with him and say, "Hey, let's get these"?)

I've decided that these little guys have replaced Gerbera Daisies as my favorite flower. The only problem is, I have no idea what they're called. Can anyone give me a clue? (Mom?) I tried to Google them, but it's hard to use a search engine if you don't already have the name down. I typed in "big, spidery-looking flower" which basically took me nowhere (my internet skills are apparently a bit subpar).

Here's a close-up:
Aren't they happy-looking? (And, no, "big, happy-looking flower" won't yield any useful Google results, either. I already tried.)

**Note the pukey walls in the picture.

I believe those are anemone chrysanthemums. (Remember Anne Shirley winning the spelling bee with the word "c-h-r-y-s-a-n-t-h-E-m-u-m?")
