Blazes

Toronto just might be hell on earth. Seriously. Temperatures were in the upper 90s today, but felt like they were near the 1000s.
Ken and I, in an act of pure defiance, opted to ignore all heat advisories and chose to walk to all of our destinations today. We logged more than two hours of huffing and puffing up and down Toronto's smoldering streets before I nearly fainted and decided it might be a good idea to go back home. (No, I don't think I've ever sweated so many bullets in my life and, yes, now I feel positively ill.)

Speaking of smoldering, I shall admit with pride (and perhaps a tinge of embarrassment) that I saw Twilight: Eclipse this afternoon. And, yes, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were indeed smoldering throughout the entire cringe-worthy film (although I feel a little weird saying that about Mr. Lautner, as I'm pretty sure he's only 17-ish and that makes me a creepy old woman). The movie? It was, as I said, definitely cringe-worthy on multiple occasions. But! I think the third installment of the Twilight series is far better than the first two, by leaps and bounds.
D-R-A-M-A! The movie was full of it! I'm sure tweens all over North America were torn between Team Edward and Team Jacob all weekend long. (I, myself, am an unwavering fan of Team Edward.)

Now, allow me to conclude this ridiculous post with a, "Noooooo!" I just read that tomorrow's weather is going to be as bad as, or maybe worse than today's. Where are the icy, cold vampires when you need one?

*Pictures stolen from unsuspecting websites located on Google Images.... I can't get sued for that, can I?
